Terms and Conditions

Our cars are supplied to hirers with fully comprehensive insurance and breakdown cover subject to the following terms and conditions.

Whilst we can take the balance of your hire by cash or card the deposit must be by card. This is a condition set by our insurers. Most cards accepted. Credit cards subject to a 2.99% surcharge.

The Hirer shall deposit a security bond of £1000 by Credit, Debit card or cash. Where the deposit is made using a card it will be in the form of a pre-authorisation on that card (like when you check into a hotel). This sum will be refunded if the Hire Vehicle is returned in a satisfactory condition to Forth Sevens. The Hirer undertakes to return the Hire Vehicle to the place and on the date set down on the agreement form with all tyres, tools and other accessories present and in the same condition as when received. Forth Sevens reserves the right to retain the £1000 security bond or make a separate charge to cover the cost of any cleaning and or repair work required if the Hire Vehicle is returned in an unsatisfactory condition

Our insurers apply a £1000 excess to any claims on the Insurance Policy. The Hirer will be responsible for that sum as part of any claim arising during their period of hire.

As of 8th June 2015 the paper counterpart of the UK driving licence will be abolished and a new service will be in place to allow hire car companies to view details of your licence and what penalty points (if any) that you may have. We will require you to allow us to access your licence details within the confines of that service before we can allow you to drive our vehicles. Full details of the "share your licence process" can be viewed at -

Full terms and conditions supplied on request and with any booking.
